If you are a newcomer, or already familiar with with the web you will find something here to learn from, maybe from web standards, design inspiration or CSS.
I have used these sites for reference and a lot of them have very good articles on what makes a great website. So they are perhaps the classic bookmarks for somebody who works with the web. As you can imagine it's a full time job keeping up with recent developments in web design.
